Building a business. Lots of them actually, and from a really small town in Ohio. We’re going to document our progress here. Mostly for the sake of our sanity. A little bit in case we disappear in a puff of entrepreneurial smoke somewhere along the way so our kids can have a trail of digital breadcrumbs to follow should they decide they’d like to find us. They do act like they actually love us occasionally. It’s rare, but it does happen. And… because we think our small town ideas have the potential for big impact.
So. This will blog be our future story.
What about our story now?
We are both designers.
We knew each other what seems like a million years ago.
We live together.
We work together.
We both love food. The only reason we pay for cable TV is so we can watch the Cooking Channel. Although I’m really starting to dig Oprah’s OWN too.
Between the two of us, we have three kids between the ages of 14 and 20 which means at any given time, there might be 8-10 teenagers in our home. Teenagers travel in packs, for those of you who didn’t know and they are very loud on wooden stairs. Add two dogs to the mix and you have a pretty good idea about the level of energy in our home, which is a direct indication of the level of dishes in the sin.
We have creative families.
We have creative friends.
If we’re so creative, why is this site black and white? Because the color is yet to come. Be patient dammit.
